We rear chickens under hygienic condition and sell dressed chicken as well as live birds at farm gate.
Our farms produce fresh, high quality chicken sold under the brand name SR KUKU . The chicken is processed at our Abattoir of processing capacity of 16,000 birds per day in Bombo , Luwero District . The current bird population is 270,000 with plans of expanding to 600,000 in the near future.
Our farm has the capacity to produce 1,000,000 eggs/day and we cater to both the domestic as well as international market in East Africa. Our broiler farm with the present capacity to house 34,000 chickens ensures to produce healthy and tasty chicken for the local market. Our hatchery has the capacity to produce 40,000 premium-quality day old chicks for supply to our customers throughout East Africa.
Our chickens are fed a nutritious diet free form hormones and steroids. We produce brown eggs and our distribution channels include farm gate as well as retail outlets.
The success of livestock farming is largely dependent on the continuous supply of good quality nutritious feeds at competitive price. Raw materials like maize. wheat, broken rice, sunflower meal, soya bean meal and fish will be used to generate the output which will be used to cater to the growing needs of poultry feed in Uganda .
We have a mash feed mill of capacity 20 tons/hour and a pellet feed mill of 7 tons/ hour capacity . Our silos can store 8,000 tons of Feed in Luwero district. Our Feeds are formulated under the supervision of technical vets at our lab facility .
We are committed to consistently delivering healthy, premium-quality day old chicks to our customers. We are currently producing 200,000 pre-vaccinated Day Old Broiler chicks per week and would be starting the production and sale of Day Old Layer chicks shortly. Each step of our production chain, right from procuring our parent stock to their rearing and hatching, is controlled to ensure only top quality hatching eggs are sent to our hatchery. Our hatchery processes these eggs in a stringent sanitary environment with the best market practices to obtain premium quality chicks.
